This Recruitment data policy explains how we TELTONIKA group companies (UAB “TELTONIKA IoT GROUP”, UAB TELTONIKA TELEMATICS, UAB TELTONIKA NETWORKS, UAB TELTONIKA TELEMEDIC, UAB “TELTONIKA EMS”, UAB “TELTONIKA ENERGY” collectively, “Teltonika”, “we”, “us”, and “our”, “company”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data relating to job or internship applicants and what privacy rights the applicants have. Please read the following information to understand how the Company uses and protects the information provided by your agreement.
The website and recruitment forms are provided and hosted by the Company.
By submitting your personal information, you are consenting to the Company holding and using it in accordance with this policy. Information that we collect from you and your use of career website
This is information about you that you give us by filling forms on our career website or by responding us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. The information you give us or we collect about you may include your name and surname, address, demographic information such as post code, private e-mail address and phone number, references verifying your qualifications and experience, curriculum vitae and photograph, employment details, employment preferences, links to your professional profiles available in the public domain e. g. LinkedIn. Whether this is a search engine result or a reference from a former or current employer who, with your consent, provided Teltonika with a statement for recruitment purpose.
INFORMATION WE OBTAIN FROM OTHER SOURCES
This is information we obtain about you regarding recruitment process from other sources such as LinkedIn, online CV libraries, your business card and personal recommendations. In this case, we will inform you, by sending you privacy notice, within a maximum of 30 days of collecting the data of the fact we hold personal data of you, the source the personal data originates from and whether it came from publicly accessible sources, and for what purpose we intend to retain and process your personal data.
Legal basis for processing
For recruitment purposes, Teltonika processes the personal data you have provided for the purpose of pursuing Teltonika legitimate interests, such as evaluating job applicants and administering the recruitment process. In addition to this processing, if you are chosen for one of our vacancies, we will need to take steps at your request before entering into an employment contract with you. The legal basis for such processing will be a contract between you and Teltonika. Where processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that this does not affect our processing of your personal data prior to the withdrawal of your consent.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH
We may share personal information with our Teltonika group companies’ employees who have responsibility for recruitment, such as members of the Human Resources Team and other parties directly involved in the recruitment process, for example, the Hiring Manager. Other members of staff may have access to personal information where such access is required for the due performance of their function. For example, members of the IT department may have sight of your personal information while resolving an issue.
We share personal information with our service providers (processors) who provide services on our behalf for the purposes described in this Recruitment Data Privacy Policy.
TELTONIKA will only share your personal data with those who have a legitimate business need for it. Whenever we permit a third party to access your personal data, we will ensure the personal data is used in a manner consistent with this Recruitment Data Privacy Policy (and any applicable internal data handling guidelines consistent with the sensitivity and classification of the personal data).
Your personal data may be shared with our subsidiaries and affiliates and other third parties, including service providers, for the following legitimate purposes:
• In order to carry out the purposes of our personal data processing as described above (“Information that we collect from you and your use of career website”).
• To enable third parties to provide services on behalf of TELTONIKA.
• Where necessary to protect TELTONIKA, your vital interests, such as safety and security, or the vital interests of other persons;

Transfer of your personal data to a third country outside of EU and EEA
TELTONIKA operates globally and therefore personal data may need to be transferred to countries outside of where the personal data was originally collected. For example, because we are headquartered in the EU, personal data collected in other countries is routinely transferred to the EU for processing. Your personal data may be accessed with other entities within the TELTONIKA group of companies, both within and outside the EU/EEA. The sharing of your data may occur in the following circumstances:
• Recruitment Process Transfer: If you are being considered for a position within a TELTONIKA entity located outside the EU/EEA, your personal data may be transferred to that entity to initiate or complete the recruitment process.
• Headquarters Transfer: Data collected by our offices located outside the EU/EEA may be transferred to our headquarters located within the EU for central recruitment management.
Prior to any such transfer, we will undertake thorough assessments to ensure that your personal data remains safeguarded and that the recipient country provides an adequate level of data protection as prescribed by the GDPR. We are committed to implementing appropriate safeguards, such as binding corporate rules governing the treatment of personal data, standard contractual clauses or obtaining explicit consent, to ensure that your rights and interests are protected throughout the entire process.
How long we keep your personal information
We keep the personal information that we obtain about you during the recruitment process for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.
In the event that you are not selected for the position for which you applied, and if you have given your consent, your job application, CV, and other relevant material will be kept on file for a period of 12 months.
If you do not provide your consent to retain your submitted documents, we will securely delete your application materials one month from the date of submission.
If your application is successful, your personal information will be transferred to our HR administration department and processing will be subject to your employment contract and employment privacy notice.
Your personal information rights and choices
You may request to access, to correct or to delete your personal information.
