ACKNOWLEDGMENTS IN THE CEO OF THE YEAR 2022 AWARDS

The CEOs of two companies of the Teltonika company group received acknowledgments in the CEO of the Year 2022 awards, organised by the national business daily Verslo žinios.

Antanas Šegžda, CEO of Teltonika Telematics, won one of the three nominations in the awards – he received the highest number of votes from the readers of Verslo žinios. And Simas Rutkauskas, CEO of Teltonika EMS, received great appreciation and achievement by being selected among the nine finalists in the nomination Young CEO 2022.

"The most amazing thing was to see how involved my colleagues were, how supportive they were. It is like a balm for my heart. It's great that we can bring people together - no matter the reason. This prize symbolises this unity between us, Teltonika, and all that we will achieve together in the future," said A. Šegžda when accepting the award. 

Also, he was selected among the top five finalists in the major nomination of CEO of the Year 2022. The traditional awards aim to elect the CEO who has created the most value for society, employees, and shareholders during the year.

According to Verslo žinios, according to Verslo žinios, Teltonika Telematics exports telematics equipment manufactured in Lithuania to foreign markets, including GPS trackers, sensors, solutions for counting public transport passengers, improving driver behaviour, and other equipment - about 50 products in total. According to A. Šegžda, Teltonika’s equipment is now installed in about 1/3 of company-owned cars in Europe and 1/2 in Lithuania. 

He notes that last year was exceptional for Teltonika Telematics, which now employs about 500 people. The company doubled its turnover to EUR 110 million, with pre-tax profits reaching EUR 23 million.
