On March 3, the Teltonika company group welcomed the European Commissioner Thierry Breton, other members of the European Commission and the Lithuanian Minister of the Economy and Innovation, Aušrinė Armonaitė.
EU Commissioner Thierry Breton has been one of the strongest supporters of the European Chips Act. As one of the strategic growth directions of the Teltonika company group is the development of the semiconductor chip industry in Lithuania, we are pleased to have had the opportunity to discuss this topic with Mr Breton.
The visit took place in the Teltonika EMS company. We had the opportunity to show the guests around our modern production facility, introduce our activities, and present our plans and investments.
In the next 10 years, we are planning to establish the whole semiconductor industry in Lithuania, from silica sand refinement to chip development and production. The total investment in all the projects will reach more than 3.7 billion euros.
