On September 17th, the Lithuanian academic society members and Vilnius University scientists visited one of the Teltonika IoT group company, that is responsible for Internet of Things devices manufacturing. The meeting was held in the Teltonika EMS manufacturing plant where founder Arvydas Paukstys was introducing major business activities like Telematics, Network, Telemedicine, Mobility, and Orginal Electronic Manufacturing (OEM) services. During the meeting, the visitors were introduced to the latest automatic assembly lines and their efficiency in today’s dynamic environment. The Chief of Production made a live manufacturing plant presentation and demonstrated how more than 10 million IoT devices were made.

The president of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences J. Banys highlighted that specialists from humanities and social sciences, physics, biomedicine, technology, and agriculture fields are currently working on the national education politics and acting the major roles in the strategic implementation decision making. According to the president of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences J. Banys the Teltonika IoT company group will take an important role in the upcoming “Sauletekio” valley technology park. As a result of this collaboration business segments and universities will encourage the development of new technologies and expand integrity between scientists and the internet of things technology usage in the market.
