The first-year students in technology, engineering and programming can apply for an annual scholarship of €3,000 (€300 for 10 months) from Monday, May 8 - all graduates are invited to fill out the application form.

Teltonika is continuing its scholarship programme "The Future Belongs to Me!", which has been running for the third year. By organising the scholarship programme, the Teltonika group of companies aims to encourage young people to venture into the world of technology and engineering. Since 2021, 200 first-year students have already received Teltonika scholarships worth a total of €600,000. It is the largest privately-organised scholarship programme in Lithuania.

"There is a growing consensus that there is already a shortage of engineers and technologists in Lithuania, and that the shortage will be even worse in the future. That's why we continue a scholarship programme in cooperation with Lithuanian higher education institutions. This is to encourage young talents to choose engineering and IT fields of study at the best Lithuanian higher education institutions and to acquire valuable knowledge in engineering, electronics, mechanics or computer science," says Julius Purlys, director of the Teltonika High-Tech Hill that runs the scholarship programme "The Future Belongs to Me!".

For more information, please visit the Teltonika website dedicated to this scholarship programme. The registration form will be available until 5 September and the scholarships will be awarded at the beginning of the school year.

There will also be online presentations for students to learn more about the scholarship programme and the application process. Presentations will take place on 9, 17, 23 and 31 May:

The selection process will focus on the candidates' technological and engineering achievements and skills, their motivation, and may also take into account their academic performance.

The scholarship is open to prospective first-year students who will receive their maturity diploma in 2023 and who have chosen one of the 32 technological study programmes taught at these educational institutions.
