TELTONIKA SHINES AS INVESTOR OF THE YEAR AT THE INVESTORS’ FORUM

The Teltonika company group was recognised as Investor of the Year at the Investors’ Forum awards event held on 21 April. Companies, institutions, media representatives and civil servants who have contributed the most to improving the country’s investment climate were honoured for the twelfth time.
In 2022, we opened the Teltonika Technology Centre in Molėtai, having already invested more than 20 million euros in this project. In the coming years, we intend to invest a further 14 million euros in expanding the necessary manufacturing equipment. This is the largest business investment in Molėtai of all time.
The technology centre has already provided 150 well-paid jobs for specialists in different fields. We expect the number of employees in Molėtai to grow to 500 in the next 2–3 years. Today, the centre manufactures high-tech network connectivity solutions such as industrial 4G and 5G routers. In the near future, we will also start mass production of state-of-the-art telemedicine products: artificial lung ventilation devices and smartwatches that detect atrial fibrillation.
For creating high added-value in the Molėtai region and for our substantial investment in the technology centre project, we received the Investor of the Year award. According to Simas Rutkauskas, CEO of Teltonika EMS, “At Teltonika, we like to say that any investment will eventually pay off if we do everything with great love and trust in each other. This award is the best example of that.” The Investor of the Year award, one of the most important awards in Lithuania, is granted for the contribution to the development of the national economy and the creation of new jobs.
