On July 21, Teltonika EMS welcomed an exceptional guest – Mr Eric Huang, Head of the Taipei Mission of Taiwan to the Baltic States, who came to Lithuania to get acquainted with Lithuanian socially responsible business.
On July 21, Teltonika EMS welcomed an exceptional guest – Mr Eric Huang, Head of the Taipei Mission of Taiwan to the Baltic States, who came to Lithuania to get acquainted with Lithuanian socially responsible business. During the visit to Teltonika, Mr Huang met with the President of Teltonika IoT Group Arvydas Paukštys, Head of Teltonika EMS Simas Rutkauskas, and Teltonika Telematics CEO Antanas Šegžda to discuss important cooperation matters. The visit took place at Teltonika’s production facilities, where the highest quality IoT devices are being produced daily.
The Taipei mission representatives were given a tour of the Teltonika EMS facilities. The guests had an opportunity to see all the production processes, Teltonika’s SMT lines and robotic systems at work, and quality control mechanisms that ensure a quick, smooth, and reliable operation.
The visit focused on the most important issues at the moment – the supply of semiconductors as a high priority commodity and the opportunities for cooperation in the development of joint business between Taiwanese and Lithuanian companies. “Taiwan is a strategically important partner for the supply of components needed for the production of Teltonika’s IoT devices,” says Arvydas Paukštys, Founder and President of Teltonika IoT Group. Teltonika representatives also talked about the possibilities to support a student exchange programme that would allow Lithuanian students to go to Taiwan to study semiconductor chip design and manufacturing, and Taiwanese students to come to Lithuania to deepen their ICT knowledge at our universities.
Teltonika representatives demonstrated the latest and most innovative products in the fields of telematics, network equipment, asset tracking and telemedicine. The honourable guests agreed to help us open a Teltonika office in Taipei. Currently we are planning our expansion in Taiwan and throughout the Asia region. Today the Teltonika company group already has 28 offices in 19 countries.
